Calling all 2nd - 6th graders! Show off your creativity and design your poster to answer the question, "Why is it important to know about money?"
In honor of Teach Children to Save Day, which is nationally recognized on April 12th, we are encouraging our local youth to get involved with the importance of saving money with our poster contest!
ENTRY DETAILS
DESIGN your 17" wide by 11" tall poster
SUBMIT your poster by April 10th. There are two ways to submit:
- Take a photo of your poster (see below for tips) and upload it.
- Drop your poster off at your local Northwest Bank along with an entry label. Sorry - posters will not be returned.
Form must be filled out and included with the poster to be eligible.
VOTING
The top 10 finalists (chosen by an internal committee) will be displayed on Northwest Bank's Facebook and Instagram Pages for voting April 15th - 19th, 2019.
WINNERS
The winners will be the two posters that receive the highest number of combined likes over Facebook and Instagram at the end of April 19th, 2019.
Be sure to like the Northwest Bank Facebook and Instagram Pages to follow the details and voting! Winners will be announced April 22nd, 2019 via our Facebook and Instagram Pages.

OFFICIAL RULES
- Students in 2nd - 6th grade are eligible, one poster per student.
- An internal committee will choose the 10 finalists to display on Facebook and Instagram for voting.
- Poster should be horizontal, 17" wide and 11" tall.
- One (1) first place winner and one (1) second place winner will be selected.
- Submit poster image by April 10th. Once the image has been submitted you can drop the poster at your local Northwest Bank to be displayed in the lobby. Sorry posters will not be returned.
- Voting will take place on Northwest Bank's Facebook and Instagram page, April 15th - 19th, 2019.
- Participants and their families are recommended to share posts and go to Northwest Bank's Facebook and Instagram Pages to like the images to increase their child's odds of winning.
- Official winners will be the posters with the top two highest post likes combined from Facebook and Instagram April 19th, 2019.
- Winners will be announced April 22nd, 2019 on Northwest Bank's Facebook and Instagram Pages. Winners will be contacted within a week.
- By participating in this contest you acknowledge the use of your photo by Northwest Bank in all social media posts, the website and print.

All Posters received with an entry label will also be entered into the Community Bankers of Iowa (CBI),
Money Smart Week poster contest. The Winner of the CBI Poster Contest (chosen by random drawing) will receive a $600 CD from CBI.

Include all four corners of the poster in the camera window

Hold your camera steady
Northwest Bank employees and their families are not eligible to win. An internal committee will choose the 10 finalists to display on Facebook for voting. Must be a resident of Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota or South Dakota to enter the poster contest.
