David earned his degree in Business Finance from Minnesota State University and graduated with honors from the Colorado Graduate School of Banking. He began his banking career in middle-market commercial lending in Denver, Colorado. In 2010, David and his wife moved back to Iowa, where he joined a family-owned community bank in Des Moines, overseeing the Business Banking and Government Lending departments. David later partnered with his father-in-law in the family business, Beisser Lumber Company, where he currently serves as President. David and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter, Gracie, and a son, Archie.
David emphasizes the critical role that community banks play in supporting local communities, a responsibility that Northwest Bank takes very seriously. He finds the most rewarding aspect of serving on the Board of Directors to be the opportunity to work with an organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact on its employees, customers, and communities.
Josh joined the Northwest Bank team in 2024 and is responsible for developing and servicing the bank needs of commercial businesses. Josh works with businesses of all sizes and has a passion for helping businesses meet their goals. Josh has volunteered with the City of Ankeny Parks and Recreation board and has been an Ambassador with the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce. Josh and his wife have lived in Ankeny for 29 years and Josh has been in banking for over 19 years.
Derek has been in banking since 2012, specializing in the consumer, small business, and treasury management departments. He is a member of Soteria Church in West Des Moines, where he teaches children’s classes and serves on the mission’s team. Derek enjoys volunteering at Sunny View Care Center and teaching financial literacy classes for Junior Achievement in Des Moines. He also enjoys coaching and officiating youth sports. Derek truly cares about his customers and values a banking relationship built on integrity and trust.
Ashley brings several years of customer service experience to the Northwest Bank team, having joined in 2018. As a dedicated banker, her passion lies in assisting customers with their financial and treasury management needs. Outside of work, Ashley actively supports the community by participating in networking and volunteer events and visiting local small businesses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as relaxing with her dogs.

Michael is a dedicated wealth advisor based in Sioux Center, where he is committed to helping clients build and manage their financial futures. A graduate of Spencer High School in 2019, he went on to attend Northwestern College, where he excelled both academically and athletically, playing college football and golf.
After college, Michael moved to Sioux Center, where he married his wife, Madison. Together, they are raising their son, Gibson, and enjoy creating lasting memories as a family.

Jen's background includes over eight years banking experience with Northwest Bank as a personal banker, along with a Business Administration degree from Northwest Iowa Community College. She values the relationship of the customer and strives to provide top notch customer service.
Andrew has been in community banking for almost 15 years in many capacities with a focus on advising and partnering with commercial clients. Using Treasury Services including Online/Mobile/Digital Banking, ACH capabilities, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Sweep Accounts, and Wire Services allows our clients to focus on their business and achieve their goals with efficiency and security.
Jason brings over 10 years of financial services experience to the Northwest Bank Team. As the Treasury Management Lead, he helps manage the sales team to achieve their goals while producing in the Omaha Market as well. Jason is an expert of our commercial deposit accounts and services that include: Remote Capture, ACH capabilities, Positive Pay, Online Account Management, Sweep Accounts and Wire Services. He is also a supporter of the community as an Ambassador and Young Professional for the Sarpy Chamber and the finance chair at St. Thomas Lutheran Church.

Sara Schweitzer brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role as a Treasury Management Representative at Northwest Bank. Since joining Northwest Bank in 2020, Sara has been instrumental in helping numerous customers achieve their financial goals. With a commitment to personalized service, Sara is dedicated to building strong relationships with her customers and delivering tailored solutions to meet their business banking needs. Serving as Treasury Management Representative for the Shenandoah, Creston, and Afton areas, Carolyn Matzinger brings a wealth of experience and expertise to assist businesses with their financial management needs. With over a decade in banking, her background in municipal finance has equipped her with a specialized skillset to cater to the unique financial requirements of businesses and organizations. Carolyn is a proud graduate from the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado, class of 2024. This comprehensive program has further honed her skills and knowledge, ensuring that she provides the top-notch service our clients have come to expect. Carolyn is passionate about helping businesses thrive by understanding their financial needs and goals. Carolyn is actively involved in the community. She serves as a City Council Member in Northboro, Iowa, and holds the role of Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Charles Hockenberry Foundation. Carolyn also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Greater Shenandoah Foundation.
Noah Ritter has up to six years of banking experience, with four of those years being part of the Northwest Bank team. Ritter started as a Personal Banker in March of 2020 at the West Des Moines branch, which then led him to transfer to the Spencer Corporate office to obtain the position of Mortgage Loan Processor in March of 2021. Noah's newest venture is heading back to his roots in Creston, where he will serve as a Mortgage Banker. Ritter graduated from Iowa State University, where he achieved a bachelor's degree in business administration. He enjoys helping our borrowers not only find the loan program that best suits their needs, but also the ability to provide them with a simple and smooth homebuying experience. Noah spends his free time with his family, being active, and playing golf.
Eli is committed to helping clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence. With nearly 2 years at Northwest Bank, and previous experience as a real estate agent, Eli brings extensive knowledge of real estate and finance to the mortgage team. He is committed to delivering top-notch customer service and believes in building lasting relationships by offering personalized guidance. After graduating from college in 2021 with degrees in finance and economics, Eli and his wife became small business owners when they inherited Los Pueblos, a local Mexican restaurant in the heart of Arnolds Park. The restaurant has been in the family and served the local community for more than 20 years. Eli is an involved member of his church and loves spending time with his family.
Ray Gaesser grew up on a small farm in southern Indiana, where farming was always his passion. He states, "It’s a blessing to have a career that aligns so closely with one’s passion."
Ray and Elaine were married in November 1977, shortly after purchasing a farm near Corning, Iowa, where they continue to live and work. They have two adult children: Jennifer, who is the vocal lead at Creston High School, and Chris, who along with his wife Shannon, now manages most of the family farm. Chris, an agronomist trained at home and Iowa State University, and Shannon, who holds a business degree from the University of Iowa, make a strong team in managing the farm.
Over the years, the Gaesser family farm has expanded to 5,000 acres, with 80% rented from neighbors. Chris and Shannon now manage about 90% of the operation, allowing Ray and Elaine to retain about 10% while gradually transitioning responsibilities.
Ray’s formal education includes a high school diploma, complemented by extensive management and leadership training. He has served as president of both the Iowa Soybean Association and the American Soybean Association, gaining invaluable experience and insights into Iowa, national, and global agriculture and policy.
Lisa has over 16 years of experience in the banking industry, with the past 7 years emphasis in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending developing her as an expert in this vital area of banking. Lisa is a graduate of Iowa State University. She is an active member of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, and several local service organizations.
Mitch Van Regenmorter started his career with Northwest Bank in 2021. He graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Mitch was raised on a family farm near Maurice, Iowa. He has been active in the agricultural industry since he was young working on farms in his area, including his family’s. He is currently a Loan Portfolio Manager specializing in helping customers analyze their operation’s finances and achieve their financial goals. Mitch enjoys helping with a variety of events at the Sioux County Fair each year and looks forward to getting more involved and engaged in the community.
Jill Oltmanns joined the Northwest Bank team in 2020. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Business and International Agriculture. Jill previously worked for a meat processing plant where she learned how to buy hogs and USDA price report. She is currently a Loan Portfolio Manager specializing in helping customers analyze their operation’s finances and further develop their position in the Ag industry. Jill farms corn and soybeans along with raising hogs with her father, brother, uncle, and cousins in her time outside of the bank. Family farms are near and dear to her heart. Jill is active in the Le Mars community. She serves on the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee, the 4-H Foundation Board, the United Way Board, and teaches Faith Formation at her local church. Jill enjoys participating in community activities, listening to podcasts, helping her husband on the farm, and spending quality time with family.
Jed has been with Northwest Bank for more than 18 years and over 27 years in the banking industry. He brings significant banking experience in retail, mortgage, commercial lending, loan collections and bank management. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking. He and his family have lived in Spirit Lake for 18 years where he is deeply involved in the community as a member of Kiwanis, Immanuel Lutheran Church, and is involved with the Dickinson County Industrial Development Board along with other community organizations.
