Meet Our Mortgage Bankers

Adam Wright began his banking career in 2011 and truly believes in the mission statement of Northwest Bank - Building Relationships and Exceeding Expectations. Adam enjoys getting to know our customers and providing them a positive banking experience.  He is proud of the relationships he has built and looks forward to developing new ones. Beyond his banking role, Adam is actively engaged in community betterment initiatives, serving on the boards of the Shenandoah Public Library, Shenandoah Medical Center Foundation, and the Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association. Additionally, he gives his time and expertise as a middle school and high school coach.

Angie has been in mortgage lending for 25+ years with 20+ years of those at Northwest Bank. She has also been recognized as a top lender in Iowa. Angie is active in Kiwanis and enjoys being active with many community activities.

Angie Peterson brings over 25 years of banking experience to the Northwest Bank team with the last 20+ years in the mortgage industry. She is involved in her church, Iowa Great Lakes Rotary, and an active volunteer in Spirit Lake School District. Angie enjoys getting to know her clients and finding the right mortgage product to meet their individual needs. Whether it’s your first home, a vacation home or you’re a returning homeowner, Angie is ready to assist you.

President's Club Winner:

Brad Smit has been with Northwest Bank for 15+ years and he is full of energy and provides you with great customer service while making the mortgage process as simple as possible for all of your mortgage lending needs.  Brad and his family reside in Sioux Center, and he is actively involved within the community and coaching high school football and youth sports teams. 

Brian Klaas has specialized in Financial Services and Banking since 2003. He has been with the Northwest Bank team for 10+ years as a mortgage lender. Brian specializes in working with homeowners to educate them on the mortgage loan process to make their home financing experience simple and worry-free. He is actively involved in the Urbandale community through coaching youth sports as well as participating in various chamber and volunteer activities.

Cari Jenson brings over 10 years of banking experience to the Northwest Bank team in Ankeny and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University. Her lending experience and knowledge of the homebuying process is a valuable asset to our team. She believes in building relationships, providing high quality customer service, and making a difference for her customers. In her free time, Cari coaches youth sports and looks forward to new opportunities to give back to the community.

Snyder is a 2019 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing.  Prior to joining Northwest Bank, Collin was employed at Morningside University in Sioux City, IA where he was an admissions counselor. Collin recently relocated to West Des Moines and is eager to become involved in the community.

Dana has been a Mortgage Loan Originator since 1986 and specializes in Private Mortgage Banking assisting affluent and high net worth individuals to properly structure the financing of their primary residence, vacation home and investment properties. Dana is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He is a member of Lutheran Church of Hope, Animal Rescue League and Blood Center of Central Iowa.

Deb Andersen brings over 30 years of banking experience to the Northwest Bank team. The last 25+ years have been in the mortgage and construction lending industry.  Her focus is providing excellent customer service and making the process of purchasing, refinancing, or building a dream home a smooth and pleasant experience for her customers.  Deb is a member at St. Augustin Church and is involved with Dowling Catholic High school.

Meet experienced mortgage originator, Dee Murman who takes pride in finding the mortgage solution best suited for each of her customers, therefore, affording each homeowner the opportunity to create equitable wealth.  You will find her friendly, professional approach to the sometimes-complex world of lending to be straightforward and simple.  She specializes in opening doors for those buying for the first time and those stepping up.  You can count on Dee to be available to assist long after your mortgage loan closes, as well. She is a member of the Fort Dodge Noon Rotary Club and active in the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Dodge. She, and husband Bruce, are parents to two grown children.

Donnell Skow brings over 30 years of financial services experience to the Northwest Bank team with 18 years in the mortgage lending field.  Donnell specializes in working with home buyers and homeowners to educate them on the mortgage loan process to make their home financing experience simple and worry-free.  She is actively involved in the Humboldt community and a member of the Humboldt County Housing Development board.

Eli is committed to helping clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence. With nearly 2 years at Northwest Bank, and previous experience as a real estate agent, Eli brings extensive knowledge of real estate and finance to the mortgage team. He is committed to delivering top-notch customer service and believes in building lasting relationships by offering personalized guidance. After graduating from college in 2021 with degrees in finance and economics, Eli and his wife became small business owners when they inherited Los Pueblos, a local Mexican restaurant in the heart of Arnolds Park. The restaurant has been in the family and served the local community for more than 20 years. Eli is an involved member of his church and loves spending time with his family.

Gary Presnall brings over 20 years of experience to Northwest Bank and believes providing exceptional service to his customers is the key to building great relationships. Gary specializes in First Time Homebuyer, Conventional [VA, FHA & RD], as well as Construction Loans and enjoys being able to help find the right loan option for each customer. He is an active board member at The Refuge, a faith-based center for addiction, and is an evangelism leader at New City Church in Ankeny, Iowa. His customers have praised him for his consistent communication through every step of the loan process.

Jeff Baker has specialized in Financial Services and Banking for over 15 years. Whether it's buying a new home, car, boat, or making any significant financial decision, Jeff enjoys making the financing experience simple and worry-free to help our customers achieve their financial goals. He is actively involved in the community through serving on various boards and being an Optimist Club member.

Jessica is a mortgage industry veteran with over 20 years of mortgage experience.  Whether purchasing, refinancing or building a new home, she guides her clients through the process and helps them meet their goals.  She strives to deliver quality communication and customer service to make the loan process as smooth and pain free as possible.  Jessica is an active volunteer in the Ankeny School District and within the Ankeny Community.

Joel brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He will work to find the mortgage products and programs best suited to help each client meet their individual needs.  Joel earned undergraduate (Finance) and graduate (MBA) degrees from Iowa State University.  He is active in his church and supports various non-profits such as Martha’s House of Hope with his time and financial resources.

LeAnne brings over 17 years of financial services experience to the Northwest Bank team with 7 years in the mortgage lending field. LeAnne specializes in working alongside home buyers and homeowners to educate and provide a smooth mortgage loan process. Whether you're in the market for a new home, considering refinancing, or embarking on a construction project, LeAnne is committed to providing exceptional customer service and expertise every step of the way. Hamrick is actively involved in her community, serving as a member of the local PIE group at Iowa Great Lakes Lutheran School and previously volunteering with organizations such as Spencer Jaycees and serving on the board for Spencer Main Street.

Melissa brings over 19 years of banking & mortgage expertise to the Northwest Bank team.   Melissa is a positive problem solver and optimistic person who loves to explore all types of financing options with her clients.  She will review all your opportunities as she is knowledgeable in the first time and repeat homebuying process, new construction or renovation projects, refinance loan structuring, investment property financing, and down payment assistance programs. When Melissa is not helping homeowners, she enjoys volunteering within the youth community and being active outdoors with her husband Dan and 3 children Emma (14), Katelee (6), and Dylan (6).

Noah Ritter has up to six years of banking experience, with four of those years being part of the Northwest Bank team. Ritter started as a Personal Banker in March of 2020 at the West Des Moines branch, which then led him to transfer to the Spencer Corporate office to obtain the position of Mortgage Loan Processor in March of 2021. Noah's newest venture is heading back to his roots in Creston, where he will serve as a Mortgage Banker. Ritter graduated from Iowa State University, where he achieved a bachelor's degree in business administration. He enjoys helping our borrowers not only find the loan program that best suits their needs, but also the ability to provide them with a simple and smooth homebuying experience. Noah spends his free time with his family, being active, and playing golf.

Noah graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA with a bachelor’s degree in finance.  He enjoys developing relationships with customers and helping them reach their home ownership goals.  Noah completed the Management Trainee program at Northwest Bank where he followed an accelerated training path allowing him to learn important banking and mortgage functions preparing him to help customers navigate the mortgage process.  He is an active member of both the West Des Moines and Waukee Young Professionals.
