Northwest Bank Gives $500 to ELC Community School Backpack Program

Northwest Bank in Estherville organized efforts to support the Estherville Lincoln Central (ELC) Community School’s Backpack Program, which provides vital nutritional assistance to youth and families in need. The initiatives included raising funds and collecting donations of food and personal care items.

To further enhance the fundraising efforts, Northwest Bank matched donations up to $500 for the program. Thanks to the incredible generosity of local community members and businesses, the fundraising goals were surpassed. Marcy Sander of Northwest Bank presented a check for $1,252.00 to Connie Humble, ELC Elementary Principal, and Amy Foxworth, ELC Elementary Secretary. Alongside monetary contributions, a substantial number of food and personal care items were also collected and donated to the program.
